The ap-girl-photoshoot is our annual top-event, together with the tuning-community in Germany. After countless applications and a casting-process over many month, we were finally ready for a adrenalized weekend, full of cool cars and hot girls. As a part of this event, we would like to introduce you to 9 different cars who have two things in common. They all have been an essential part of the photoshoot and they all are equipped with an ap-suspension. That is reason enough for us, to ask all the drivers some questions.

The car
Today, I am here with my Seat Leon 5F from the year 2014. The car is not finished yet and I am still busy with all the modifications. But on the other hand, I have the car just for about 2 years now and most things fall into place, one after each other.

Why did you choose a Seat Leon?
On the one hand I wanted to have a compact-class car and on the other hand I do like the VAG brand. But my other car is an Opel, so it was time to follow my dream.

Which modifications have you already done?
The most striking thing is probably the car wrapping. After I did that, people have started turning their heads when I pass with my car, which was originally just black. But the first thing I changed was the suspension. I did that just a week after I bought the car and it is of course a coilover-kit from ap-Sportfahrwerke. To finish the look, I have also added a Rieger body-kit and Keskin Kt14 rims with Hankook Ventus S1 Evo2 tires (225/35/R19).

Looks already pretty nice. But are there more things which I do not see at the first sight?
Car-audio is very important for me. So, I installed 4 tweeters, 2 midrange speakers and 3 subwoofers, a DSP und 2 power-amps from u-Dimension and eXcursion. And everything is done in a way that you will not see it. Talking about sound, I also added a Friedrich Motorsport group A exhaust system as well as a K&N air-filter and a strut-brace.

Please tell us, how all this started and what the word „Tuning“ means to you!
The first thing was probably the „Fast & Furious“ movies but I did not start with car-tuning before some of my friends encouraged me to do so. I really love the thought that your car will not be a mass-product anymore after you modify it, it will be something unique, just something which is completely my style. I do everything myself which is possible and to be honest, I am thinking about tuning and cars all the time anyway. I also like to visit events like the Essen Motorshow, the Tuning-world or car-meets on the weekends. I am also a little bit into car-photography. Can we also find you at the racetrack?
Well, I have been on the Nürburgring, the Lausitzring and in Oschersleben.

How did you get in touch with ap-Sportfahrwerke?
My first contact was at an ap-exhibition-stand at the Erfurt motor-show 2012. I have been at many ap-Sportfahrwerke-events since that day and our relationship is grown somehow.

Whats your dreams, wishes and goals in your personal car-life?
I am thinking about an engine-rebuild for the Seat, with downpipe, turbo-upgrade, intercooler and all that. I am also planing some heavy modifications in the trunk. But other than that, I am dreaming of an Audi RS.
